Script to remove Delta Search, conduit search toolbar and others

Does anyone have a script please to remove delta search, conduit search, whitesmoke toolbar and other problem toolbars which hijack the start search page of IE?

I remember finding a VB script ages back for Google toolbar and a few others to remove them, but cant find anything for the recent batch of these.

Oh man, housmate got Delta Search on his machine a while ago and it was absolutely terrible to get rid of - even manually. Even when all signs pointed to it being gone it was still highjacking his homepage, changing it from Chrome's default page (Google, Mail, Etc buttoms) to the Delta page (which looks suspiciously like Google, 'eh?).. Certainly one I wouldn't like to automate the removal of without thorough testing. I'd likely stick do doing it manually.

    Best of luck!

If memory serves me correctly, Delta comes packaged with other software (See: Ask toolbar with Java) so blocking the exe by name using FSRM might be a fruitless avenue to explore.
For blocking it installing, only thing I can suggest is create the directories that it would install to and make them read-only, hopefully causing the installer to error and halt.

if you have an example somewhere you could possibly use software restriction policies to block it
