We're having some odd problems with our Windows 7 clients and the 2003 print server. We've got the 32/64 drivers loaded onto the server, but any change made to any printer seems to cause the Windows 7 clients to want their driver to be reinstalled - which you can see by the 'update driver required' message.
This seems to be most common with the HP Universal PCL 5 Driver, but also happens when a new printer driver is added, or a printer modified. Its very annoying as it only seems to take an administrator to login and open the printer properties for the problem to be resolved (the driver doesn't need updating, as it hasn't changed)
We did try the HP Universal PCL 6 driver, but that caused massive problems on the XP clients with spoolers crashing etc!
