    32-bit vs 64-bit Windows 7 Professional licence

This sounds really obvious (probably because it is!!) but I want to reinstall Windows 7 Professional 32-bit instead of the 64-bit version that's on there at the moment. The reason is so that I can install the printer drivers for the colour printer in the school staffroom (cos they're not available in 64-bit).

Assuming I can find the license number for the copy of Windows 7 on the laptop, does the same license number cover both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions?

The key covers both versions, so you should be fine.

How many computers? How expensive is the printer - it must be quite old if there are no 64 bit drivers for it? Just thinking about your time....

You'd be surprised. I have a HP printer from 2 years ago which doesn't work on 64bit...I have to load up a 32bit VM and get it going!
