How to delete an application out of SCCM 2012

    Hello all,

I have packaged an application ('2D Design' and 'Autograph') in the applications folder in SCCM 2012 but they dont work (it seems packaging them up the .exe way doesnt work when deploying them to our clients). How can you delete them as every time i try i keep getting the error message below:-

    ---------------------------
    Configuration Manager
    ---------------------------
Configuration Manager cannot delete this application because other applications or task sequences reference it or it is configured as a deployment.

    Details:

    Number of dependent applications: 0

    Number of active deployments: 1

Number of dependent task sequences: 0

    Number of virtual environments:0

To view the dependent applications, open the application properties, and then click the References tab.

To view the active deployments, select the application, and then select the Deployments tab in the details pane.

To view the dependent task sequences, select the task sequences in the Operating Systems node, and then select the References tab in the details pane.

To view the virtual environments, open the application properties, and then click the References tab.

    OK

You need to do as it says - click on the application, and then in the panes at the bottom of the SCCM window, there is a deployments tab. Go in there and delete the deployment.

You'll then be able to delete the application.
