OK Am I being daft ?

I'm trying to mount NFS shares under Windows 7..... Everywhere I'm reading you cannot mount an NFS share under Win 7 Pro.

I'm running Windows 7 Pro (unfortunately for me).

So far I can see that Ultimate and Enterprise will only do it.

So is this true.... or Is there a way I can do this under Pro ???

    Ta in Advance everyone!

    Chris.

You need Windows 7 Enterprise or Ultimate. Same with Windows 8 Enterprise too.

The only alternative with Windows 7 Pro is to search for a utility you can install such as NFS Client.

To do this natively you need to install the client for NFS, via windows features, services for NFS, client for NFS. This is only available in enterprise and ultimate, so as you say, you're out of luck with Pro.

That leaves 3rd party software. Not tried it myself but a brief search throws up nfsAxe - Windows NFS Client and NFS Server for Windows
