Mandatory Profile Issues
We switched to mandatory profiles over half term with redirected AppData, Downloads etc etc. Since the staff have come back we have noticed a few little issues with some settings not staying once they log off and log in again such as Pinned Taskbar items, Outlook not saving signatures and additional mailboxes and printers
we have also noticed that Active Inspire has become really really sluggish it can take up 4 minutes for the software to load and then 30 seconds for the software to change between tools i.e pen -> rubber
Has anybody experienced this issue? Or have any ideas as to where I can look?

The data for signatures should be stored here - %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Signatures
Open that on the affected users machine and ensure a. there is something in it and b. that you can write data to it
Also double check the path is the redirected folder share not local C:\users\username\appdata\roaming it should be \\server\share\user\appdata\roaming or similar.

The App data is currently be saved onto svr-10 and i can see the signatures in their from users it just doesn't appear to be loading in outlook. Whats the best way of double checking the path? There's no errors in the event viewer to say that the redirect etc has failed.

so when you type %appdata% you get the server share yes?
Have you got sp1 for office installed.

- Rep Power
I cannot find the article now, but i have read that some programs save locally and some to the network even when using network profiles. This may be part of the problem here.

With the mandatory profiles did you redirect users to the app data from the old roaming profile or recreate from fresh the first time?

then there should be no reason as to why it doesn't work -
