    Set School Logo in user account picture on logon screen

    Hi

    I've set a custom background login screen and also a default user logo once individuals log into our network. It is just the default user account logo is blank on the logon screen. Can this be changed?

    Using Win 7 with 2008 R2 server.

    I used to use a sysprep to achieve this, by adding the following to an unattend file:

    Code:
        <settings pass="specialize">
      <component name="Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    <CopyProfile>true</CopyProfile>
    </component>
        </settings>
    This will copy ANY settings changed in the currently logged on profile, to the default user profile.

    Hi

    Is there a way to do this for machines that are already imaged?

    Thanks for your help

    You could always write a batch file to add the following registry keys on logon:

    Code:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background
    "OEMBackground"=dword:00000001

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
    "UseDefaultTile"=dword:00000001

    I have set every user to use the same profile picture. That picture will stay blank until a user logs in. If no users are logged into Windows, then that picture will stay blank.

    Set a GPO to change the guest.bmp and user.bmp located in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\User Account Pictures

    To a similar sized .bmp of your choice/school logo. renamed as guest.bmp and user.bmp
