1 iphone and 2 Computers (personal & Work)
Ok, we have a user who is wanting to sync their iphone with 2 computers. 1 computer is their work machine and the other is their personal laptop. I hate itunes and everything apple at the moment so this justs adds to it.
We are running exchange on site.
On the work machine we have installed itunes (the latest one - 11.0.1). Plugged in the iphone and it has sorted it's self out. When i configure the iphone to look for the outlook account, it cannot see the installed outlook profile so how do i get it to communicate with the iphone so when the user gets to work they can sync their calendar.
On the personal laptop, they only want to sync their music.
I know about copying some files either machine depending on what i want to sync (see here http://www.andrewgrant.org/2008/03/3...computers.html or One iPhone, Two Computers, Many Solutions | How To - CNET) but the outlook part is getting me.
Has anyone get a solution to this?

I don't think you need to plug the phone into the work PC to achieve what you are trying to do. On the iPhone go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Exchange. Enter server info etc and choose what to sync from Exchange (Contacts and/or Mail and/or Calendar). Then just sync the iPhone with the personal PC like usual to get the music loaded onto it.

I guess its a confidence thing allowing devices to connect to the exchange server. Things such as the security too niggle me and with only a crappy 1.5mbps upload line things are a little bit... meh and we are hosting emails via owa and hap.
