Yup 08. It didn't work at first but then I realised my admin account didn't have the H drive mapped. Then I mapped it and it worked great. going to write it into the login script as soon as ive tested it on a couple of client PC's but they are XP

if i get a bit of time i should really add some error checking in there!
i currently use this on all my windows 7 clients, and was also on my xp clients, i have it also on windows server 2008 r2 for our remote access and all works fine.

16th October 2012, 07:13 PM #25 I tried the app this afternoon as a student. After logon an error is displayed:
Application1 has stopped responding
The only option is to end the program. It works as administrator on the same computer.
OS: Windows 7 Professional: SP1: 64 Bit.
.Net 2 has been deployed t the workstation and all updates.

are you running it from a network share? sometimes this happens if the network share is not trusted.. try to put it on the c drive and point the logon script to run it from there in the first instance to establish this is the case?

I am running it from a network share. I will try tomorrow with running it from C:\ to see if that cures it.
Thanks.

I am prob going to add a few options and better error handling in a new version soon, so i would suggest to keep it in netlogon so you can easily replace the exe with future editions.
