W7 + App-V and GPP shortcuts
We have upgraded our client PC's to W7 over the summer and are using App-V for software that works with it, so far so good.
Problem we are having is with software installed centrally on our appserver, I have been trying to add shortcuts to the start menu via group policy preferences.
We would like all the shortcuts to be in the same folders ie SS Apps/English ETC weather they are App-v or a GPP shortcut, sadly the GPP shortcuts don't seem to show up.
Our previous system was to redirect the start menu to a server share, but doing this the App-V shortcuts don't show.
How do others deliver applications that come from various means?

We use APP-V shortcuts as normal and use transform files to alter the location of other MSI based programs that we deploy. It's easy enough to do once you have done it once or twice. Packages that don't like APP-V are repackaged.

Thanks for the reply, what about programs that a installed on a server and all that is required on the client is a shortcut?
