    The Great USB Stick Hunt

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of a quick and simple way to make Windows 7 warn a user that their memory stick is still plugged into a USB slot when they attempt to log off? We are suffering an epidemic at this school of students losing their memory sticks! Anything I can do to prevent making any more of the little blighters homeless is most welcome.

    Thanks!

Well, you could always do a logoff script that checks for any additional ports (or even non keyboard/mouse USB devices if you want to get snazzy) and does warnings.

Nick's program looks great, didn't know about that... we made our own with the same tools, would have been easier using his!
