Whats the current thinking on profiles and W7 clients, just about to get all the clients on W7 with documents, desktop, menus etc. Etc redirected rather than rely on standard mandatory profiles which we used with XP. With XP we ran a script to delete all profiles on the clients at log off, do i still need to do this now with W7 or has this been negated, if its still required can it be done via a gpo setting. Whats the benefits of deleting them rather than just leaving them alone? Must slow logons if they have to be recreated each time? Your ideas and views gentlemen and women please.
