Google Rankings Problem
This query is nothing to do with work, but I wondered if there might be someone here who would't mind offering advice on an issue with a personal website...
It concern's my wife's childminding website, www.little-dinosaurs.co.uk which until very recently has appears close to the top of Google's search results for key words such as "childminder quedgeley" and similar phrases.
For some reason, it's suddenly disappeared, although it is apparently still in Google's index. It does however, appear at the top of the Google Places list, but displaying the title text of the website rather than the registered business name.
Can anyone shed any light on what's going on here?
Thanks

I have just done a google search for "Quedgeley Gloucester childminder" and "gloucester childminder"
Besides Yell.co.uk and childcare.co.uk the site comes up on the locations list in Google though a couple of refreshs show this is "random"
The title is coming from the website as the title field is <title>Childminder in Quedgeley, Gloucester. Registered Child Minder</title>
Am I missing the issue?
You can re-submit the website to Google again to see if that does anything.
On a side note, Binged (is that the word? ) and the site comes out top.

The business locations list isn't random it's most likely changing them because of the number of quickly repeated searches you are doing...
Did you change anything before this happened?
I had a look at the source code and the usual candidate isn't there (most of the time when someone disappears from Google results it's because they got hacked and now advertise viagra..)
Have you considered installing Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics on your website? will help you figure out what happened.

Also Google did a recent Venice Update, which effected localized results...
