The corners look really dodgy as well - top corners of the middle box and the bottom corners of the sidebar boxes.
@Geoff - thanks
@Webman - yes - not seen that 'effect' before - they've managed to do that on all the sites.
I can't even see the rounded corners in IE7... after your post I checked in firefox and now I see what you mean (but I only see it being dodgy on the middle box).Quote:

Also for comparisson our VLE (Which has little content and no-one uses. Ever..)
Here's what I'm doing with our VLE. Again, it's a highly modified Clouds theme, but it certainly didn't take me 7 weeks, probably 3/4 days in total. If you want I'll devise something a little more tasteful, gratis, I might need to start advertising my skills sooner than I thought
Beeswax you're obviously some ninja master at this ;)
Not wanting to jump on the bandwagon but essh!! And the IT Teach designed one I really like. Simple and uncluttered. Bit of fiddling that could be perfect I think.
Well, after having to create a site which went against all of my design ideas regarding colour due to colour blind users I can say that the site has various areas which do not have enough contrast between the background and the text. Also from a dyslexic user point of view the text, or so I am told, is difficult to read in the menu's which have white backgrounds due to the text being blueish on white.
Then from someone who suffers with neither, all I can say is 'what were they thinking???' What is with the multicolour scheme? It looks like the teletubbies had a battle and that is the aftermath :P But then again, our site isn't any better - but that is after it was attacked by my boss who likes bright colours.
If you think his is bad take a look at the one they've landed us with - http://builth.epowys.net
Most of your GCSE leverl students could probably have done just as well.
Our Y7s would be pulled up for those image errors.
Hey Ross... are you going to the meeting tomorrow?
Are we all going to give honest answers?
I'm thinking about bringing body armour just in case [j/k].
I think I'll decine commenting on ours:
Guess I'm glad I didnt get their jobs when applying for them... the scrutiny would be unbearable hehe ;)
I'd love to be a fly on the wall in this upcoming meeting...
How do you respond to "what do you think of the website?" when said website cost a lot of money and took seven months? Ummmm...
