    Calling for Joomla Help!

    Hi All,

I've created a new piece of content to show on a page and the idea is to add a link to the Informatiojn for Parents menu as seen in Edugeeks template. The link is showing on the menu but when i click the link the menu disappears that can be seen on the right side with the sub links.

How do i get the menu to stay on the page ?

You need to edit the menu module so that it displays on the pages you want.

Log into the back end and goto the Modules section

Click on the menu Module you want to be displayed eg parents menu

On the right you will see "Pages / Items" This tells the menu which pages it should be displayed on.

Scroll down and make sure that your new menu item is highlighted

    Save

The menu should now be seen

    Fantastic, your a star!

Just one other thing that i keep getting pestered about at the school!

Can we set the pages that people are changing to be authorised by an admin member before that page goes live?

when you create the frontend users up set the people who will be writing the stories as authors. any users that will be going to check the stories set as publishers. or just publish from the admin backend.
