create a site search (how to)

Hi Gang,

I'm looking for info on how to create a website search engine for a personal website.

Im dont want to use google search and Im not using any CMS, but it is built using php and mysql.

Is the a tool that can help me with this or a way to create the search so its all automated?

Why don't you want to use google?

You have to pay to use it with out adds. I dont want the website to be bloated with google rubbish, Which is why I want my own.
