    Image scroller IE vs Firefox

I have written a bit of AS3 code (compiled to swf)

It reads in an xml file containing a list of Image files that should be displayed cyclically with a fade in/out

    Code works in Flashdeveloper
Code works in local test html in Firefox on home pc
Code works in local test html in IE on home pc

Have got everything loaded up to the webserver
swfDemo Page | Upton Junior School - Working together for our children's future -
    looks fine in Firefox

    But in IE
All images load OK, then the first few images fail to fade in/out

    so we get

    image(1) load
    fade out
    image(2) load
    fade out
    ......

    image(1)
    blank
    image(2)
    blank
    image(3)
    ....
    image(n)
    fade out
    fade in
    image(n+1)
    fade out
    fade in
    image(n+2)
    fade out
    fade in
    .....
    image(1)
    blank
    image(2)
    .....

Any ideas what can be causing this ??

??Not sure what you mean by paths changing??

code loads an array of images then cycles through them - order never changes
