Free Mailing List Management Software
Does anyone know of any mailing list management software that's free fr schools to use?
Basically we want something that runs as part of our Intranet that allows parents to subscribe to newsletters via email. Someone in the school then needs to be able to send a message to everyone who has subscribed.

20th June 2010, 08:54 PM #2 We use mailman here, works with over 4000 addresses... The way we work it is by adding people (via csv list) who have joined us termly, then giving them the option to unsubscribe...
I have removed the option for outside people to subscribe as well.

Perhaps showing my lack of understanding as to how they work.... I assumed they would need some kind of SMTP server to send and to receive bouncebacks or a reply with "unsubscribe" in?
