I'm looking for a CMS that can easily authenticate logons via active directory.
I've tried e107 which is supposed to work with ldap but it seems like there is still a bug.
It seems that cms developers don't cater for this too well. Do any of you have any recommedations?
I'm trying to avoid double logons if possible.
Also have any of you used the ldap module with moodle?, as I'll be using that as well

would it sound stupid to suggest Microsoft Share Point Portal Services??
That is what we use as our intranet ....precisely for that reason!!

we use a drupal / moodle combination and have AD authentication for both.
plenty of drupal modules inc AD.

Sharepoint is an option but if we ever need to develop past the lite version it would start costing money.
I looked at drupal but didn't see a module for AD authentication - will look again.

I also had a search this morning on the drupal site <slap forehead> but not the moodle site</slap forehead> and saw reference to a moodle module but couldn't locate one.
Suddenly a lot of the SMT are wading in with 57 varieties of VLE for the school despite my having had one (moodle) up and running since February of this year. I do despair sometimes at the disjointed thinking behind all this. Do they equate "free" with "fallen off the back of a lorry"?
Leaving do last night, sore head this morning, it's an old Polish saying

I'm using plone (www.plone.org) which I quite like. It's supposed to have a LDAP plugin.

drupal ldap plugin: http://drupal.org/project/ldap_integration
Plone was my first choice but my boss overruled because he prefers php to python. strange, but drupal works for us.
