Web Development Thread, Joomla Editors HELP!!!! in Coding and Web Development; I've just installed a couple of editors for joomla however even though they are enabled and higher in the chain ...

    Joomla Editors HELP!!!!

    I've just installed a couple of editors for joomla however even though they are enabled and higher in the chain than TinyMCE they aren't coming up if I disable TinyMCE then nothing appears when I click on an article to edit? Help I'm getting very annoyed

    Under Global Configuration (I think!) have you changed the editor you're using? It's probably still set at TinyMCE.

    Login to administrator > Site > Global Configuration > Default WYSIWYG editor

    Sounds to me like you're enabling/disabling under module manager.

    Thought I had but after logging out and back in it had defaulted to TinyMCE again I've changed it back and it hasn't happened again so it's all looking okay. Thanks.
