Anyone know where you edit the email fields in the latest version, can see it in the older source files but not the latest?
Sorry I removed the Email bits for now. I will re-integrate them into the next version.
I've done another graphical update and added some stats to the main page.
Some stuff thats in development for the next version
- Stats and charts for ICT staff about who has done the most jobs
- Proper email alerts re-integration

are you still updating this?
Yep, I've got a more advanced version locally here that tracks which technician closed the job and gives a nice little chart on who's winning
I wanted to put the email bits back in and sort the "jump to" problem before releasing it again.
Feel free to make any requests but I do like to keep this as simple/easy to use as possible.
Hi
Where can I get a copy from)
Also, can it accept email requests? i.e. if someone emails helpdesk@school can it be used to enter jobs like that)
Sorry I can't edit the 1st post for some reason but you can download all versions from here.
Downloads - ictsupportsystem - Project Hosting on Google Code
Accepting emails is a great idea but I don't really know how that would work technically. I could certainly parse a text file or something but it would require setup on the email client. Not sure if its worth the effort really. (we use email for submissions here but I prefer to interpret it first then add it to the support system myself.
- Records which ICT staff close jobs and provides stats on main page
- ICT staff avatars (Put a file called "full name.jpg" in /images/avatars)
- User admins can now be created and deleted from web interface

Has anyone got this working with AD integration??
- Added stats page to see who is top of the annoying list
- Added link to all open jobs from the main page
v1.5 Download
Someone did integrate this into active directory a few years ago. Its not that difficult in ASP actually.
But for me I much prefer to have control over the users and the system does not use any passwords so I don't really see the point.

Sorry, I removed the email function as it was hardcoded and not easy to configure.
I have actually already written the code back in with a proper front end, just having a few problems getting my local smtp server ready for testing.
EDIT: I looked through my PM's and gibbo_ap did the active directory integration a few years ago. http://www.edugeek.net/members/gibbo_ap.html
