Ive just installed this and am having a play. Is there any way for it to email us the support staff when a new job is added, so that you dont have to keep checking it for new jobs?
It looks very useful.

Sure, ill be back in the office at 3:30 ill post it then.

OK, replace the jobsubmitted.asp with this:
edugeek private pastebin - collaborative debugging tool
The code between the yellow lines is what I added
It includes the email address of the user and the problem they type as the body of the email.
Good work RabbieBurns, there is a google code project setup so I will update that with the new code.
I think someone else modified this app to work with active directory as well.
1.2 released.
Just a small graphical update
Downloads - ictsupportsystem - Project Hosting on Google Code

Hi this looks really good Zag and something that we would like to try at our school. We are on Windows server R2 2008 with iis7. I have set all the permissions as stated and ASP is set up correctly and I can view the default asp but when I click on the tabs to run the different sections I keep getting HTTP500 errors. Is anyone else using the same setup and have they managed to get it working?
Cheers Jo
I have it running fine on windows 7/IIS 6.1
Not sure what the problem is but you may want to make sure standard ASP 1.1 is enabled, I think its disabled by default on 2008 R2 for security.
Otherwise check the permissions, its a standard asp/access setup so should run right away in the correct environment. Also check the permissions that the access database has full control to everyone.
It might be easier to run it on a 2003 server or XP as they were not locked down as much originally.

Thanks for replying zag. I will give that a go and see what happens.
Yes looks like it would be a lot easier not doing it on Server 08 but that is what we are migrating too so have no choice.
Hi Flavio
Would it be possible to have a look at your code for adding a classroom as this would be really useful for us an addition to this programme and I no nowt about ASP?
Thanks
Paul
