Default Photogallery that doesn’t need setting up – pickup photos automatically from a folder

Hi

In a shared area we have a folder called "Photographs" in that folder there are sub folders with the appropriate events. I would like to put all these photographs on our school Intranet. I would like it so staff can just dump the folders with pictures in the "Photographs" folder and they appear automatically appear on the Intranet. I can easy get them into a web interface, but i would like them in a nice gallery like GUI with thumbnails and then click the thumbnail you get larger image in the web browser.

I hope that made sense, does anyone know how i can achieve this please?

Thanks

Could be a good time to learn some .net, resizing images into thumbnails is quite easy all you would need to do is set up an aspx page to enumerate all of the images on the directory that it was told to and make thumbnails and a nice GUI with them. Then just add an interface to change folders and you would be sorted.
