    School Website Clipart

Hi, I'm having a play around with Joomla to cobble together a sample/example website for my new school (the old one is very tired/amateurish) and I'm planning to go with the old random image banner approach.

However, I don't have any suitable images to use. I've had a bit of a google, but wondered if anyone knows of any free image collections that might prove suitable?

    Cheers.

Don't Flikr have a set of tags for marking stuff as Creative Commons licensed? If you wanted to be really swish you could probably get a banner that went to Flikr and automatically got new CC-licensed work.

To clarify I'm mainly looking for temporary "Lorem Ipsum" images - just something to fill up the spaces and as proof of concept. I'd expect to use images from the school if it becomes real. (but then again, maybe not... )

Thanks for that first link, the categories should be useful. I'll have a look at Flikr too, ta.

    OpenClipArt ?

also have a look through icons on your favorite linux distro as most of the artwork is published under a favorable license.

I've always found stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site to be quite good
