    httpd.conf

    Can someone please tell me what to configure in the httpd.conf file to change the default localhost from localhost/xampp to localhost/intranet. I am using XAMPP and Joomla 1.5 Thanks.

    Is this to chage the XAMPP default site by any chance?

    If so then take a look at the index.php file in the XAMPP htdocs folder and change:

    Code:
    	header('Location: '.$uri.'/xampp/');
    to

    Code:
    	header('Location: '.$uri.'/intranet/');

  3. Thanks to SYSMAN_MK from:

    Thanks that worked a treat! I dont want to be a pain but is there any way of 'hiding' the xampp page. Just testing Joomla for an intranet and dont want kids deleting the /intranet in the address bar and getting the xampp control panel.

    Umm couldn't you just rename the control panel to something else and put a new index file which is blank?
