Its no go on the ac.uk domains, I spoke to JANET over the phone.

I doubt highly that we will be using a name.county.sch.uk

So given this context I'm thinking that the main domain should be:

    nameac.org

    Anyone disagree?

I would not use nameac.org ... people will mistakenly put name.ac.org. We are a specialist technology college and I spend all day explaining the nametc.com is not name.tc.com.

I would do nameacademy.org.uk ... having the .uk is pretty important, but it doesn't stop you from having .org, .co.uk, .org, .net and .tv with appropriate redirectors in place.

When registering who's name should I use as the registrant?
