cheap or free windows based hosting

Need some windows based hosting either very cheap or free.

As need to do some testing with some asp applications etc. But all my hosting is linux based and these asp scripts won't run apache:asp I am guessing.

    Any suggestions..

If its a test, why not just do it at home?

    Russ,

it all depends on the type of scripts you are wanting to test.

If the scripts require file system access, i.e. create files or folers then most free hosts don't allow this.

You could setup IIS on windows XP pro and test with that but it depends on if you are doing this at home or work and numbers of testing.

Few reasons cant do it home might want to give some elese access to test it and don't fancy giving people access to my network at home even if it is secure . Also suprislingly only windows xp machine (apart from other halfs etc) is my laptop which comes to work with me and rbc firewall will stop access to it.

Second imporant one plan is I plan to replace my glpi helpdesk install that I use to keep track of my life with ictnuts mylittlehelpdesk app

    Got it sorted for now.
