    Can you change the identity of the application pool the intranet site is running under in IIS? Try Network Service if it already isn't.

    The error you are getting is purely server side when it appears to be doing a look up on the domain controller where your AD is. It is baffling without further information as to why it would work on IE8/9 and not 10.

    Tried changing it to Network Service but to no avail.

    What further info can I provide? I am stumped!

    Is the intranet site internally developed, or third party? could the third party provide any assistance?

    Other than trying the app pool under a high level domain admin account I am running out of ideas.
