Hi Guys,
I'm interested to see what you guys think about this. I have a static html website running no CMS at all. I need to add a calendar of upcoming events and dates that can be easily updated by a non technical user. Has anyone done that kind of thing before and if so, how did you do it? I've thought about creating a single page joomla site but it seems like overkill.
Thanks

Use something like Google Calendar?
Can you embed a google calendar into a website though? I need to continue the site's style and colour scheme.
The client side app would need to do the clever stuff and hold the date - ok if you only had one person updating it - is that the case?

use calendarix here is an example of it in practise at a school (hope you don't mind beeswax) http://www.falingepark.com/index.php...chool-calendar
Thanks for the reply..there are going to have to be a couple of users updating it. I can create as many SQL databases as I need so if that helps.

with calendaris you can make amny user accounts easly
cool..thanks for that. I'll have a look at it.

if you need a lift PM me
I'm assuming you're not using this with a forum otherwise I'd offer my own code... There's plenty of options out there though..
