File hosting upload / download script

I'm looking for a php script which will allow me to upload and download files to/from my personal webspace. I have asp/php to play with. I would like it to be password protected.

Any ideas?

Not tired it, but bung 'php file manager' into google, there's lots of different products that will do what you want.

That one costs $10, I know there are free scripts out there that will do what you want as I used to have one loaded as an alturnative to FTP on a webserver. Alas I no longer have the server or the script I'm afraid.

Did you ever find or create something to do this?

I ask because i have just done one on my server. I used w2box for mine it works great and also has the added benefit of being free.
