I host a couple of websites all my own and not very busy about 1000 visits a week at the moment I am using United Hosting and I get unlimited space and bandwidth but I have just had my new bill for the next year and they want £276.
I was just wondering if anyone else uses a similar host that is maybe cheaper and also what are they like for availability etc.
Thanks

I have hosted some dotnetnuke (asp.net/sql) sites via webhost4life for a few years.
Always had good support and good value.

Well, it depends exactly how you want them set up. Personally I would go for a VPS from VPSLand.com. Allows you to do what you want then. I currently have one with them, just a basic one, and have not had any downtime at all.

You wont beat http://www.netpivotal.co.uk/ £3.99 per month with 2 gigs of space and 80gigs of bandwidth and a domain name.
Plus perl, ruby, php, 5 x sql, unlimited email and a tone of other stuff. We run our school website using them and have never had a problem. tech Support is via email, but its very quick and they will change & fix stuff for you without complaint.
