Moodle Access to Windows Share
We were using an internal Exchange 2007 server with access to folders, however it died the other day so was went to office 365 for email. However the loss of access to network shares will be of some concern to staff. I have been looking at the Windows Share Web Client block to connect users to a Shared drive on the file server
I am very confused, please can someone clarify if this will now work if Moodle is on a windows server (2008) and the file server is also a windows server (2003)?
It appears to me that I need to install SMB Client and cygwin, which server does this go on and are there any security concerns with these applications?
Is there any other way - office365 sharepoint?
