Common Cartridge the end of Scorm ?
At the recent Learning Gateway Conference Microsoft talked about their new content production software Semblio. They also said it would support common cartridge. My first reaction was, no we are only just getting to grips with the concept of scorm.
After some research I found this site IMS Global Learning Consortium: Common Cartridge FAQs.
I can now understand why Microsoft are using common cartridge as its more suitable for digital content and for most Learning Platforms. The issues associated with scorm and runtime are taken away
I only wished they had explained the differences.
