Fronter - Changing MIS systems
We have been using Fronter since Novemeber after completeing the initial integration from Serco Facility CMIS. We are due to change to SIMS for the next academic year and I am wondering what affect this is going to have on Fronter.
I'm not sure if our teaching groups are going to be named using the same convention and I guess if this is the case then I am going to end up with a load of duplicate rooms (as such). Can SIMS support any naming convention when it comes to teaching groups - at the moment they follow this:
11E6Engl - [11 - year 11][E - exarts faculty][6 - group 6][Engl - English]
Has anybody been is such a situation? I've raised the quesiton with the London MLE helpdesk but it seems they don't know either!
