Is it possible to remove the 'teacher' name from an individual course?
I know there's an option which turns off the displaying of the teacher name for the entire Moodle site, but I was hoping there's a way to turn it off for individual courses.

you can rename it under the Role renaming settings for that course. is that what you mean?

Want to get rid of the 'teacher' field all together. It's mainly for one course that's run by one staff member, but has a lot of help from other staff, so she doesn't want the full 'thanks' for the work when it's not her work she's promoting ... if that makes sense.
What I do is duplicate the teacher role and call it something like 'Editing Support Staff'. This means that this new role has exactly the same rights as the teacher. You can then assign this role to the user.Quote:
