    Frog Email Problem

    Hi all;

    I'm not 100 percent familiar with Frog (I've taken over a school network for just over 4 months) so wondering any good experts here can have any good advice.

    Basically, our email with Frog had stopped working since last week, no change made to Exchange (2010),no changes to Frog but we did create a test system for internet access through our Sonicwall(looked after by our ISP) and the time it failed.

    1) Log on to Frog, send an email to our the school, my yahoo, gmail, gets nothing. Emails sent to a Frog email address,again nothing but may get a delayed NDR.
    2) Example I had an isolated case today of a teacher sending an email to a student and getting a bounce back days later:

    <student@XXsmail.co.uk>: mail transport unavailable

    3) We also get a confirmation email sent to out room booking system that frog relays to our school email, and we are starting to get the following NDR (trapped as junkmail through our firewall)

    * I have checked with the ISP, they told me that there are no restrictions applied to frogserver thier end and change they were doing unlikely to cause this.
    * Mail flow to and from Exchange is fine on other emails

    I have reported this to Frog today, but wondering whether anyone has possible theories, I believe tat Frog host it's own email services so possibly that has been screwed?

    Many Thanks

    All sorted.

    It turned out to be the Frog inbuilt antivirus scanner service needing a restart, that stopped mail from flowing.
