    Cool Moodle help

    Hi I am the moodle person here at sale high school I have greatly improved our moodle site which is at shmoodle.org please have a look and let me know what you think

    Why I write here is that I need a bit of help does anybody have any experience setting up the live @ edu block we currently have live @ edu email for the students but Im having difficulty getting the block to work in moodle.

    Also does anyone have any ideas on how I can get serco cmis to link upto moodle to show merits, attenendce, detentions etc etc.

    Any help will be great cheers people

    I like the layout. I use an adapted Newbury College one too!
    One quick question, what is the bar at the bottom of the screen - looks interesting!

    Have to say it looks really nice - where did you get the subject images from?

    I'm thinking of redesigning ours to look nicer.

    Hi all, the bar at the bottom of the page is just a little add on that puts the profile link etc at the bottom cheers for all the good feedback cant remember why I got the subject icons from but feel free to use, anyone who wants a login to look further around the site or have any other questions please email me at nathan.liveseysalehig...MENTION].co.uk, anyone feel free to post your moodle sites so i can take a look at yours aswell also anyone have any help on live @ edu plugin because the live @ edu programme is great, just a shame our network manager wont let the staff use it and wants to stick to keiro mail look forward to hearing back from you all

    Can I just ask use has anyone got any types of security measures in place if your hosting your Moodle in house, e.g firewall?

    Our moodle site integrates with AD, Zimbra Mail, Our file servers, Serco MIS for attendance, grades, letters, behaviour and reports.

    I even added the reports, letters and behaviour section myself (with the help of Facility to Moodle developer )

    Ours sits behind out LEA's firewall - the only ports on which you can access is port 80 and also 20/21 for FTP

    Which will be the same when it comes in house - although no FTP from the outside world only internally
