Can Moodle be installed on current server or on a new server?

Hi All,

This is a totally noob question but.... can you install moodle on a server already hosting a website or does it need to be set up a server of its own?

You can you just need it to be running via another port instead of 80 (if you want it as another website instance) or just add another web directory within apache or iis IE "moodle" its very simple to setup either way
