Did you know about these, have you joined yet? So far there is a community for those working in Local Authorities, another for those in Primary schools and of course one for Secondary schools.
From the room chooser click Display all rooms, go to the External Room Invite to request membership.
dannyjay and jdoyle: Maybe you should ask further "up" the chain - Local Authority/County? I was under the impression that this was available across the UK. I work at LA level and haven't been asked to set anything so that school members can apply so assumed it was automatic.

This is very true, I have found that the discussions across my own LA are also deadly quiet. Not sure that the people who use Fronter are forum type people. Unlike on here, even if someone has a problem there are very few replies. However, there was a call at the National Conference for a UK wide community so someone somewhere wanted it.
In order to gain access to the community installation you need to setup a trust relationship with the fronter.com/community installation. To do this you can go to:
- Admin
- Settings
- FronterBridge administation
Once the request has been sent and accepted you will be able to bridge into the rooms.
