I can get email notifications of forum posts but I don't seem to able to find anything for blog entries - is this possible?
(Basically one of ict-coords would like to use blogs in a primary but would like to have all posts copied to their email to check what's being posted)

Simon
I don't think it is but I'm happy to be proved wrong; hopefully someone else has a better idea. The basic Moodle blog's a bit rubbish really, isn't it? The fact that it's attached to a profile and not a course means you can only have the one blog - not a problem for small primaries but no good for us in secondary as you couldn't have a, say, French blog and an English blog. Has she thought of an individual forum?

Ta - thats what I thought
No - he'd seen a school in Blackpool where the pupils were blogging (using Wordpress I think) and wanted to know if we (e.g meHas she thought of an individual forum?) could set one up on Lancs servers. He liked their system because all blogs could be sent to his Iphone for vettting before they were allowed to be published.
So I suggested that we might be able to use our Moodle for this (to save me effort in setting something else up)
But an individual forum would be a compromise - at least he could could get copies of all posts and then just delete them if required.
I'll pass it on
