Hi All,
I have a weird one here, I have three new starteers for this new year and I have added them to my active directory but moodle just won't let them log in? I have some older users on the system who have never logged in to moodle and they can log in with no problem!
Slight head scratcher.
Anyone any ideas?
Thanks

5th January 2010, 09:30 PM #2 Haven't been created in correct container in AD is usually first culprit... eg: You've put them in a new 2010 container in your students branch (if you sort it that way) but haven't told Moodle to check the new 2010.

If your AD looks like this:
DOMAIN>USERS>STUDENTS>INTAKE1 and has the ldap mapped to STUDENTS then users in the USERS folder (or anywhere else in AD) will not be picked up. If you move them to the top level OU or create a new sub-ou then it should all be ok>
