GCSE Online Options site for GCSE in Learning Platform
We have been working on an Online Options system for our students preparing to choose their GCSEs. This has been fully intergrated into our Learning Platform with access by students and parents. I thought I would share this on here and also to see what people think. We have made the actual full site available to all so you can play with it. The site is fully editable by an admin which makes it a really powerful and efficient tool. Check out the student videos and sample lessons here:

Excellent idea Mike - particularly the videos. Which areas of the school population had a hand in designing this? Have you had much feedback from parents yet? Are you considering using SharePoint to provide a means of selecting the option themselves?

7th November 2009, 10:18 PM #9 Nice on Mike, This is something i have been looking at myself as it is not long now until students have to pick there options again.
Some good idea's on there, i am looking to do something as i say and set it up so the students will be able to pick there options online and then it will get reported back to the person(s) who deal with sorting the options out. I think it will be better then the students having to bring a letter back stating there pathway.
Great Work!
James.
