Schools using Social Networking
As part of a year long action research programme with iNet / SSAT, I am looking into the use social networking within school to reach "hard to reach" audiences. (Students, staff, parents, insert any stakeholder you like).
I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this question but.....
I am looking for evidence of use of such technology in schools and a measure of its effectivness.
(Elgg, Ning, Mahara etc or even good olde Facebook)
(I appreciate that the bulk of my action research will be to gather this evidence)
Literature searches produce the usual "Facebook" evidence - but not with any substancial evidence.
Does anyone know of any schools that use such tools?
