Hi
I have been following the wiki "Sims and Moogle Integration"
http://www.edugeek.net/wiki/index.ph...le_Integration
I have imported all of our UPNs into AD using another method mentioned in the wiki but am really struggling with creating the "VIEW" in SQL in section titled "Pull Course Info out of Sims"
I have gone into the SQL Management Studio and expanded Views > New View but am absolutely clueless about what to do next? Tried pasting in the code at the bottom of the Wiki into the query box but it refuses to save.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks

I have completely re written the SIMS.net Moodle Integration. The new version uses the command reporter tool.
It also removes the technical issues with direct access to the SIMS.net database.
I'm looking at offering this new version of SIMS.net Moodle Integration under a co-operative subscription.
Everyone pays a annual flat fee and get access to all moodle modules of the same grade i have created and any updates to them in that time.
would this be of something that might interest you?

Are you exporting the data on a schedule or on the fly when requests are made from moodle? If its on the fly does it impact on load times?

Hi,
I will be exporting the data as enrolment and timetable changes happen at semi frequently, so once an hour should be fine.
Course enrolment is done at login not as a cron job.

Ah right ok, nice one. I'm sure Capita would be much happier with this kind of solution.

penfold_99, whilst not something I have any budget to consider at the moment, I would in principle be quite interested in this project depending on what the costs end up being...
Are we talking similar money to the Salamander Moodle project?

SIMS.net command reporter and Moodle
Hi, is the updated version using the SIMS.net command reporter still available? If so where/how can I get my hands on it?
Thanks in advance
