    I have been trying to use this Moodle Plugins Directory: PaperCut Print Quotas papercut block in my moodle 2.1 but I am having problems getting it to connect to the server.

    Does anyone here know if there are any configurations I need to make on the papercut server in addition to block configuration on moodle (URL and port) ??
    Any help would be great, at the moment im stuck with the balance not available image!

    Thanks

    iceman85, I was stuck with the balance not available image because of the way the block checks if your IP address is internal or not - it compares the first 2 parts, e.g. 10.0 , where we have 2 different subnets because of multiple locations. If your client(s) IP address is on a different subnet to your Moodle server, this could be the issue you're having as well. I resolved it by editing [moodle_directory]/blocks/papercut/block_papercut.php and editing the line that reads
    $internal = address_in_subnet(getremoteaddr(), $serverip[0].'.'.$serverip[1]);
    to read
    $internal = address_in_subnet(getremoteaddr(), $serverip[0]);
    so that it only checks the very first part of the IP address - which in my case was 10 for both the server and client.
