Hi,
I setup Moodle with LDAP last week and it worked perfect
Today when a student tries to login it doesn't let them in it just says invalid username or password. But it works perfect on the test accounts and they are exactaly the same as the Student accounts.
The only difference is the username format
Test account 07test
Student Account t072johns
Does anyone have any tips please?
Thanks
Z

21st April 2009, 01:12 AM #4 Penny Dropped!
I restored an old course from the Old Moodle isntall and i created all the old users. These users had the same usernames as the LDAP users. I deleted all the accounts.
What can i do to reset it so it picks up the old deleted accounts with the username but on LDAP?
Thanks
Z
PS: the old server didnt use LDAP

not sure what to do from here, if the accounts still existed i would have set them to use ldap individually. ( or by twiddling with sql) .
could be that the accounts are still somewhere even if theyre not in the db.
