I have the SLK installed but the only way to view content is to assign it to myself. Is there a webpart or anything I can install so I view the content by creating a link. Or is there another SCORM reader I can install along side SharePoint that I can link to? I have searched Google and Codeplex but havent found anything.

9th March 2009, 08:38 PM #5 I posted a similar question a while ago, check here:
Microsoft SLK SCORM content
I never had the chance to have a play with it so I can't tell you whether it works and does the job or not.
I probably won't have a chance to play until the summer holidays now, so if you do get it to work i'd be interested to hear.
Thanks

There area a number of free scorm players. Here are examples.
SCORM Flex Player
These are web based
SCORM Test Track - Free SCORM Testing Tool
SCORM. Solutions. Now. | Icodeon SCORM 2004 Player
Also I think reload may do something
I guess you want a youtube type player that runs the scorm package so staff can see what it looks like?
I guess you would like it in a web part?

I have been looking at Hunterstones Thesis products. They have a player/ viewer in their Librarian repository and in their Learning object manager. So you do not have to self assign.
Pm for screen shots

19th March 2009, 09:29 AM #8 Have been testing Articulate and found it so easy to use. It is very user friendly especially for staff as the main bulk of the program is done through Powerpoint and our staff are fairly competent in using it. I feel that it could be invaluable once they get their head round it.
