    Sharepoint 2007

I'm having a problem with a site on my sharepoint box when clicking on the tab it brings up an error in the event viewer. Attached is the event viewer and the IE error.

    Any ideas?

Can you open the site in SharePoint Designer - this might give you more information on the error

I de-activated a webpart I'd installed. Also had something similar with the student section crashing but opening it in firefox showed it as an error with another webpart becoming corrupted alls well that ends well.

A good way to deactivate we parts in pages that produce similar errors is to add either ?contents=1 or &contents=1 to the end of the URL depening on the URL

    e.g.
    http://intranet/default.aspx?contents=1
    http://intranet/default.aspx?eventid=1221&contents=1

    Thanks

    Matt
