Does the current CLEO MIS Tool for Moodle import the Staff as well as the Pupil accounts?

IIRC... it doesn't, but you only need a CSV of staff. The CLEO tool adds the lesson functionality so that classes of pupils can be picked out. This functionality doesn't really apply to teachers because they are the one creating the courses in the first place.

Staff are not imported with the CLEO tool. As Ric says a quick bit of CSV is all thats required.

So you would need to allow staff to be able to create courses themselves rather than having the courses pre-defined for them.
Supposse that keeps course numbers down lol

Yes unfortunately you still need to assign staff their roles.

It's up to you... allowing staff to create courses does allow more flexibility though and it's a lot less work for you
