We have a number of spammy and ridiculous posts on Fronter made by the pupils. The trouble is, the forum in question is a brainstorm so all the posts are anonymous, even for admin accounts!
Does anyone know how to root out the little blighters' details?
Thanks!

23rd January 2009, 02:56 PM #2 I'd put in a request to Fronter Support. Don't think there's any way that we can check (at the moment). I switched off Stickies for the same issue and would switch off the BrainStorm feature if I could.

Not possible on a brainstorm. Have you registered it as a change request with Fronter? I can't see a reason why you wouldn't want the user details by the post.
Why not use one of the other forum types, i'm pretty sure every other type shows the user details.

26th January 2009, 11:02 AM #4 Not me who makes the forums, the teachers do. Any staff I talk to I advise them to avoid the Brainstorm due to seeing this junk appear on the bulletin board.
Guess it isn't possible then. Thanks for helping, I'll work out how to send a change request to Fronter as it's a very big hole if you can't tell who is posting rubbish on the school VLE!

To log a change request goto frontersupport.co.uk on the left hand side, click Log an issue and fill out the form.
